You can eat at the Blue Moon multiple times per day (I honestly haven't bothered eating there more than once yet, and I almost always get whatever is the special and then add a few more dishes to round things out). You can get the recipe for a drying rack to be able to make various dehydrated foods that restore some stamina. You can sit in chairs or on benches to regain stamina (it's slow, but it helps). I generally will wander around with my scanner up without actually digging unless there is something buried (unless there are specific resources I'm collecting, in which case I'm fine with using up my energy to get what I need). I've never had any issues getting through several levels of the mines in a day unless I went in with low stamina, and that's including taking the time to find all of the buried items on the floor. As long as you have enough in stock to do your commissions and some gifts, all is fine. I ended many days with stamina to spare, because there's simply no need to gather huge amounts of resources.
